1. Destination and user accounts

To be part of the Outdooractive platform every destination is required to manage content within its own Destination Account. You can start for free with the Basic account and according to your needs, you can upgrade.

From the Pro Account Level onwards unlimited users within your organisation can collaborate and participate in the content development and management process.

2. Collaboration between DMO levels

Outdooractive provides the optional functionality to mirror the local orgaizational structures by creating a workflow and content flow hierarchy. Upper destinations have certain editing and approval rights on lower destinations' content, for quality asurance and compliance with data standards. All level DMOs have access to the platform-wide knowledge data base and training posibilities to achieve a unified high level of quality of content and communication.

3. Seamless data exchange

All account levels have the opportunity to licence their content as open data.

Starting at the Pro Account level, connectors are unlocked that enable the direct exchange of data with external accounts held in the Tourism Tech Alliance (Neusta, Infomax, mein.toubiz). This market-encompassing alliance follows the mission to prepare the way for an optimal experience for tourists by providing information from all tourist systems on all output channels while making data management as easy as possible for our professional partners.

DMOs at the Pro+ level can use and display all content produced by lower level actors (including Basic Accounts). They also have access to the API functionality to transmit any content from the entire region to their proprietary data hubs.
